Grackle

...In the oropendola and cacique species, the base of the beak extends to the forehead, forming a frontal plate. The plumage of the grackle (illustration) and cowbird (illustration) is black or brown, but most have relatively flashy colors that combine black with red, yellow, orange, brown, or chestnut. The sexes are usually different colors, and the males are larger than the females.
