Okawa [town] - Okawa
A former town in Okawa County, eastern Kagawa Prefecture. It occupies lowlands in the Tsuda River basin. It produces rice, tobacco, and vegetables, and also engages in dairy farming. It mainly produces buttons, but also engages in sewing and ironworking. In April 2002, it merged with Tsuda Town, Shido Town, Samukawa Town, and Nagao Town to form Sanuki City. 34.54 km2 . 6,977 people (2000).
