Gauri (English spelling)

…Wife of the god Shiva. She is also known by other names such as Parvati, Uma, Gauri, and Kali, but these are thought to have originally been different goddesses. Durga means "the insurmountable woman" and is regarded as a fearsome female warrior who slays demons.
