...There are a few museums of this kind in other countries. For example, the Museum of Broadcasting in New York City, USA, is a museum that has a library of radio and television broadcast programs that can be freely viewed by individuals, eschewing the usual practice of exhibiting past broadcasting equipment. The NHK Broadcasting Museum was opened by NHK on March 3, 1956, to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the start of broadcasting in Japan, at Atagoyama in Shiba, the site of the first official broadcasting station.
