Aizen Ouhou - Aizen Ouhou

Japanese:
Aizen Ouhou - Aizen Ouhou
This is an esoteric Buddhist ritual performed with Aizen Myoo as the principal image. It is said to be effective mainly in respect (harmony and friendship, i.e. mutual love and devotion between people, harmony between husband and wife, and devotion to Buddhism) and surrender (stopping evil that harms people and Buddhism, and quelling the difficulties of war and unrest). This ritual consists of the Aizen-o Nenjuho and Gomaho, which are considered secret rituals, but there is also the extremely secret Nyoho Aizenho. It is said that in order to establish the Aizen-o Ho in Japan, Ningai, the founder of Ono Mandala Temple, compiled the Aizen-o Daishidai and Aizen-osho. His disciple Seison performed this ritual in 1065 (Jiriyaku 1) in prayer for the accession of Emperor Gosanjo, and Seison's disciple Hanjun also frequently performed the Aizen-o Ho.
