Wang Jin Feng

A Chinese woodcarving artist from Quanjiao County, Anhui Province. He began painting before the Second Sino-Japanese War and served in the military as an artist and propagandist for the anti-Japanese cause. He learned woodcarving in 1937, and in 1942 he exhibited a realistic depiction of the suffering of the people and the appearance of workers at an exhibition of Chinese woodcarvings in Moscow, where he was highly praised. 中国の木刻画家。安徽省全椒県の人。日中戦争以前から画筆をとり，従軍して抗日芸術宣伝工作に従事した。1937年木刻画を習い，1942年モスクワでの中国木刻画展覧会に人民の苦悩や労働者の姿を写実的に描いた作品を発表し，高く評価された。
