Stage directions - Stage directions

Japanese:
Stage directions - Stage directions
A theatrical term. It refers to the parts of a play that are not dialogue but mainly direct the actions and behavior of the characters. In some cases, it may also include the specification of the time period, place, date and time, and an explanation of the stage equipment and effects. It is roughly the same as the English term "stage direction" and the German term "Regieanweisung" (direction instructions). The term "stage directions" comes from the fact that in Kabuki scripts and other such works, the "to" was always added after the lines, such as "to omoinai awase" (with deep emotion).

Japanese:
英語のステージ・ディレクションstage direction(舞台指示),ドイツ語のレギーアンバイズングRegieanweisung(演出指示)がほぼこれに当たる。
