Dhammapada (English spelling)

…One of the early Buddhist scriptures. The original title is Dhammapada in Pali. The original Pali text is one of the Southern Theravada Buddhist sect's Small Canons, but there are also Gandharan, Sanskrit (Udana chapter), Chinese translations (Dhammapada, Sattva, etc.), Tibetan translations, and fragments in Central Asian languages, and it is known to have been extremely widespread.
