A Chinese book on landscaping techniques. 3 volumes. Written by Ji Cheng in the late Ming Dynasty. Published in the 7th year of the Chongzhen era (1634). This book is divided into 10 sections: site preparation, foundation, building, decoration, gates and windows, walls, pavement, stonework, selection of stones, and borrowed scenery. It is explained with many illustrations and can be considered an important reference book for landscape gardening research.
