Deck-quoits

Japanese: deck-quoits(英語表記)deckquoits
Deck-quoits

...The most common examples today are a 20cm diameter rubber board with a 6cm diameter hole thrown at a single pin (hob), or a 15cm diameter ring thrown at nine pins arranged in a square with 20cm intervals between them. The game is played both indoors and outdoors, with the pins about 16m away. There are also other games such as horseshoe-pitching, which is a favorite in the United States, and deck-quoits, a game played on the deck of a ship with a rope loop. In Japan, during the Meiji period, a drinking game in which a ring was thrown using fire tongs on a tatami mat was popular, and was also played at festivals, and rules were introduced such that if the ring fell perfectly into an item lined up on the floor, the item could be retrieved.
