Crawl stroke

Japanese: crawl stroke(英語表記)crawlstroke
Crawl stroke

There are four competitive swimming strokes: crawl, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly.
[Crawl Stroke]
The swimmer floats face down on the water surface, kicking and alternately paddling with their left and right hands. It is said to have developed from breaststroke, and in 1863, British Trojan J. Trudgen developed the open-handed, scissor-footed Trojan stroke by incorporating a swimming style he saw in Argentina. It was introduced to Japan in 1915.
