Radiometric dating

Japanese: 放射年代 - ほうしゃねんだい
Radiometric dating
The time in the history of the Earth determined by a dating method that uses the half-lives of radioactive elements. This method is particularly useful for dividing rocks into Precambrian periods, when there are few fossils, because it is performed directly on rocks.
