…British politician. Descendant of the 1st Duke of Marlborough, who distinguished himself in the War of Spanish Succession. Eldest son of Randolph C. Churchill (1849-95), who served as Chancellor of the Exchequer for the Conservative Party. Churchill was the type of politician who best demonstrated his talents as a leader in times of upheaval, and his 90-year life symbolized the glory of the British Empire and its liquidation. Born into a distinguished family, Churchill served as a soldier before becoming a member of parliament, and in the first half of his life he was rather unfortunate because of his energetic and bold nature. However, when he took on the fate of Britain in a life-or-death struggle against Nazi Germany, his strong fighting spirit and frank eloquence inspired the nation at the brink, and his extraordinary political and military leadership over a period of five years led the anti-Nazi camp to victory. …
