…the Galli da Bibiena family was an Italian family of Rococo stage designers and architects. They originated in Bibiena near Florence and were based in Bologna. Eight members of the family over three generations were active in the 17th and 18th century at various European courts, and designed and produced many sets for operas, festivals, balls, and funerals.
