A delivery order is a document that instructs the delivery of all or part of a deposited or transported item for which a warehouse receipt, bill of lading, or bill of lading has been issued, and is also called a delivery order (D/O). It is particularly useful in the case of maritime transportation, where it is used to transfer the transported item in parts to several people or for guaranteed delivery. However, a delivery order is not a legally defined document, and its form and content are not uniform. Source: Heibonsha World Encyclopedia, 2nd Edition Information |
