bailes regionales (English spelling)

Japanese: bailes regionales(英語表記)bailesregionales
bailes regionales (English spelling)

…Spanish classical dance music may be based on 18th- or 19th-century classical pieces, either in their original form or with some modification, or it may use modern or contemporary compositions that use folk rhythms, such as those of Albéniz, Granados, or Falla.
[Folk dance, regional dance | bailes regionales]
Just as Spain is rich in folk songs, it also has a very diverse and vibrant range of regional folk dances. Among the most famous are the sardana of Catalonia (performed by a wind ensemble, with people joining hands and dancing in a circle), the zortziko of the Basque Country (with its distinctive five-beat rhythm), the aurresku (an elegant dance derived from court dance), the espata-dantza (sword dance), the jota of Aragon (famous for its high-flying choreography by men and its typically Spanish melody), the seguidilla of La Mancha (with its distinctively Spanish rhythm and melody, which spread to Andalusia and became the sevillanas), the fandango, which originated in Andalusia but has spread to many other regions, the danza prima and gilardilla of Asturias, and the charrada of Salamanca.
