[External Ear]
The outer ear consists of the pinna and the ear canal. The pair of pinnae (auricles) are raised on the outside of the head and are made of skin covering the cartilage of the ear. The pinnae are attached to six auricular muscles, but in humans, the ears cannot normally be moved.
