Amir Kabir (English spelling)

Amir Kabir was a reformist politician of the mid-Qajar dynasty of Iran. He was born as the son of a cook for the third Qajar Shah's prime minister, Qa'em Maqam, but was favored by his master and held important posts in the province of Azerbaijan.
