Washuzan Mountain

Japanese: 鷲羽山 - わしゅうざん

A mountain located in the southwest of the Kojima Peninsula in Kurashiki City, southern Okayama Prefecture. It is 113 meters above sea level. It is a representative observation point in Setonaikai National Park and has been designated a national scenic spot as Shimotsui Washuzan. From here you can see the islands of Bisan Seto and Shikoku. The Kojima-Sakaiide route of the Great Seto Bridge, the bridge connecting Honshu and Shikoku, starts at the foot of this mountain. The Washuzan Skyline runs from Hiroe in Kurashiki City.

岡山県南部、倉敷(くらしき)市の児島(こじま)半島南西部にある山。標高113メートル。瀬戸内海国立公園の代表的な展望所で、下津井(しもつい)鷲羽山として国の名勝に指定されている。備讃(びさん)瀬戸の島々や四国を望見できる。本州四国連絡橋、児島―坂出(さかいで)ルートの瀬戸大橋はこの山の下が起点である。倉敷市広江(ひろえ)から鷲羽山スカイラインが通じる。
