An experimental flowerpot invented by the German agricultural chemist Paul Wagner (1843-1930). It is a cylindrical container made of white porcelain, and there are two types designed so that when filled with soil, the soil surface area is 1/2000a (inner diameter about 25 cm) and 1/5000a (inner diameter about 16 cm). The 1/2000a type has two holes on the side of the bottom, one of which is used to adjust the drainage by opening and closing a plug, and the other is used as a water supply hole to adjust the water level by attaching a glass tube, etc. Source: Heibonsha World Encyclopedia, 2nd Edition Information |
