Youth culture

Youth culture
It refers to a subculture formed by adolescents searching for their own social identity and asserting the uniqueness of their generation in opposition to the existing dominant culture of adults. It is also called youth culture. Of course, many cultural changes are carried out by the young generation of the time, and dominant cultures incorporate behavioral patterns unique to young people in the transition from childhood to adulthood, but these are not specific to the younger generation as a way to separate and assert themselves from others, so they are distinct concepts (transition rites, avant-garde, youth groups, etc.).
