Omote Myogi

Japanese: 表妙義 - おもてみょうぎ
Omote Myogi

...The mountain has been severely eroded, and the location of the eruption center of the volcanic rocks and the original topography are completely unknown, so it is inappropriate to call it a volcano. There are two parts to Myogi: Omote Myogi, which has a sawtooth ridge extending from Mt. Kondo (1,104m) to Mt. Hakuun (1,081m) to the northeast and Mt. Kinkei (856m) to the southwest, and Ura Myogi, which stretches from Mt. Yakiyu (1,162m) to Mt. Sendagi (997m). Omote Myogi in particular is called Mt. Myogi. On the steep mountainside, strangely shaped rocks called stone pillars, stone gates, and cannon rocks can be seen, and in autumn, when the entire mountain is colored with autumn leaves, the scenery is outstanding.
