Lawn bowls

Lawn bowls
A game in which players roll a ball on a grass court and compete to stop it as close as possible to a stationary white ball called the "jack." It is also called bowls or on the green. It is a type of bowling that originated in Scotland, UK. The ball is made of wood or synthetic resin, 12-14.5 cm in diameter and weighs up to 1.5 kg. It is an eccentric ball with a different balance between the left and right, and it draws a large arc as it rolls, so the bowler must predict the ball's trajectory. The target jack is 6.3 cm in diameter and weighs 0.2-0.3 kg. There are four events: singles, doubles, triples, and fours. It is particularly popular in Commonwealth countries. The international governing body is the International Bowling Board (IBB, later renamed the World Bowls Board WBB), which was founded in 1905, and the Japan Lawn Bowls Association, which was founded in 1986, is also a member of the IBB.
