A series of laws enacted by the German Emperor Frederick I (Barbarossa) at the Imperial Diet of Roncaglia in 1158 during his second Italian campaign. Frederick attempted to give the imperial power a new basis in Roman law by consciously linking it to the ancient Roman Empire. With the advice and cooperation of the four famous doctors of Bologna (Hugo, Martin, Bulgarus, and Jacobus), and with the involvement of judges representing Italian cities, the Law on Regalia and the three subsequent laws (which were only rediscovered in 1967) were enacted with the intention of restoring the imperial rights in Italy.

ドイツ皇帝フリードリヒ1世(バルバロッサ)が第2回イタリア遠征に際し，1158年のロンカリアの帝国議会で行った一連の立法。ここでフリードリヒは，古代ローマ帝国との意識的な結びつきによって，皇帝権に新たなローマ法上の基礎を与えようとしたといえる。ボローニャの著名な4博士(フーゴー，マルティヌス，ブルガルス，ヤコブス)の助言･協力を得ながら，イタリア諸都市を代表する裁判官たちの関与のもとにイタリアにおける皇帝の諸権利を回復することが意図され，レガーリエンに関する法律およびこれに続く三つの(1967年になって初めて再発見された)法律が制定された。
