Eindhoven
A commercial and industrial city in North Brabant in the south of the Netherlands. It is home to the main factory of Philips, a world-famous telecommunications equipment manufacturer. The technical university was founded in 1956. The city was founded in 1232. It has a population of 216,036 (2011).
