A type of stemmed bronze sword found in Liaoning Province, China and the Korean Peninsula. There are spines on both sides of the body near the center, and the lower half of the body is bulging like the body of a lute. For this reason, it is also called a pipa-shaped bronze sword (previously called a Manchu-style bronze sword). In Liaoning Province, it has been found in tombs from the Spring and Autumn period or the Warring States period.
