A haiku poet in the early Edo period. Born in Kyoto. His family name was Kaede. His first name was Ryotoku. His other names were Darinken and Nashikien. He was one of the Seven Immortals of the Teimon School. He followed the compilation of the Konzanshu. He edited and wrote works such as Konzan Dojinshu, Dokugin Senku, and Ryoyakusho.
