A Chinese book on architectural techniques. It was compiled by imperial order by Li Mingzhong during the reign of Emperor Zhezong of the Northern Song Dynasty. The first edition was published in 1103 but has not been passed down, and the version we see today was republished in 1145. It begins with documents related to architecture, and then goes on to detail 13 construction methods, such as trench construction, stone construction, large tree construction, small tree construction, carving, turning, sawing, bamboo construction, tile construction, mud construction, painted construction, brick construction, and kiln construction, as well as standards for the amount of work and materials required, with detailed illustrations. Addendums and a catalogue make up the total of 36 volumes. It is a valuable document for learning about the structure and techniques of ancient architecture.

中国の建築技術書。北宋(ほくそう)哲宗のとき、李明仲が勅を奉じて編纂(へんさん)した。1103年に初版が刊行されたが伝わらず、現在みる版本は1145年に重刊されたもの。まず建築関係の文献を載せ、壕寨(ごうさい)、石作、大木作、小木作、彫作、旋作、鋸作(きょさく)、竹作、瓦作、泥作、彩画作、塼作(せんさく)、窯作などの13種工法、手間や材料などの規格が詳細に記されており、緻密(ちみつ)な絵図を付す。これに補遺、目録を加えて全36巻。古代建築の構造や技術を知るうえで貴重な文献である。
