Good price - Ryokai
A Zen monk from the Tang Dynasty in China. The founder of the Soto sect. He spread Buddhism in Tozan, Jiangxi Province, and was called Tozan Liangkei, with the posthumous title Gohon Daishi. His disciple Sozan Honjaku perfected the teachings, and the Soto sect was named after them. His works include "Hokyo Samadhika" (The Song of the Mirror of Mercy).

中国，唐代の禅僧。曹洞宗の祖。江西省の洞山で仏法をひろめたので，洞山(とうざん)良价といい，諡号(しごう)は悟本大師。門下の曹山本寂(そうざんほんじゃく)が教義を大成したので，２人の名をとって曹洞宗の名ができた。著書《宝鏡三昧歌》など。
