Distribution policy generally refers to deciding on a policy for achieving a desirable state or goal in distribution, and carrying out some kind of activity in line with that policy. These distribution policies can be broadly divided into public ones, where the policy is mediated by the national or local government, and private ones, which are developed as strategic policies for individual companies. First, public distribution policies are those in which public authorities attempt to achieve public objectives by exerting some kind of influence or interference on the various institutions engaged in distribution activities and their activities.
