Otani Honbyo - Otani Honbyo
The ancestral mausoleum of the Jodo Shinshu Honganji sect in Gojozaka, Higashiyama Ward, Kyoto City. Shinran's remains were originally buried in Otani, but were reburied north of Yoshimizu in 1272. They were moved to this location in 1603. Nishi-Otani.

京都市東山区五条坂にある浄土真宗本願寺派の祖廟。親鸞の遺骨は初め大谷の地に葬られ、文永9年(1272)吉水の北に改葬。慶長8年(1603)この地に移された。西大谷。
