The name of a jihon wholesaler in Edo that flourished from the end of the Tenmei period through the Tenpo period (1780s-1840s). The shop name was Nishimuraya. The Hibino clan. Commonly known as Yohachi. Also known as Eijusai and Sanbatei Seigo. The second son of Urokogataya, an old family of jihon wholesalers in Edo. The shop was on the corner of Bakuro-cho 2-chome. They published many works by Santo Kyoden, Kyokutei Bakin, Ryutei Tanehiko, Jippensha Ikku, Takitei Rijyo, and others. They also published ukiyo-e prints by Kiyonaga and Koryusai. 天明末年から天保(1780年代‐1840年代)にかけて繁盛した江戸の地本問屋(じほんどいや)の堂号。屋号は西村屋。日比野氏。通称は与八。栄寿斎,また山巴亭青江とも号す。江戸の地本問屋として旧家である鱗形屋(うろこがたや)の次男。馬喰町2丁目角に店があった。山東京伝,曲亭馬琴,柳亭種彦,十返舎一九,滝亭鯉丈などの作品を多く出版。また,清長,湖竜斎などの浮世絵の版元でもある。古浄瑠璃60種の板木を所有し,毎春これをすり出して奥州へ下す。
