Japanese: 流出説 - りゅうしゅつせつ（英語表記）Emanationslehre

A philosophical and theological interpretation of the world that considers the world (many) to be an outgrowth of the original one (one). Typical examples of the theory of emanation are found in the Neoplatonist and Plotinus' theory of gradual emanation. From the first or good, reason emanates as the next best thing (an imitation of the first), and then from this self emanates the idea, or the many as the object of thought, transcendental reason, whose essential function is thought, and the sensible world, or nature. The basic premise is that nothing comes from nothing, and there is an essential difference between this and the God of Christianity, who preaches creation from nothing. The theory of emanation was advocated by the Neoplatonists, the Gnostics, Indian philosophy (Vedanta), and others, but it also had a considerable influence on Islamic and Christian philosophy.
