A woman who appears in "The Tale of Genji." The third daughter of Emperor Suzaku. With the Emperor's help, she became the wife of Hikaru Genji. Feeling ashamed of having an affair with Kashiwagi and giving birth to a boy (Kaoru), she became a nun.
