Style thunder - Yàng shì Léi (English)

Japanese: 様式雷 - ようしきらい（英語表記）Yàng shì Léi

The Lei family was responsible for the construction of palaces and gardens during the Qing dynasty in China, and was known as Style Lei or Style Lei because it was dominated by the Lei family for over 200 years, spanning seven generations. Its founder is said to have been an artisan from Jiangxi in the early Ming dynasty, and since Lei Feng became responsible for the construction of the Forbidden City in Beijing during the Kangxi period of the Qing dynasty (1662-1722), successive generations of the Lei family have been responsible for the design of Yuanmingyuan, the Summer Palace, Yuquanshan, Sanhai, Chengde mountain resorts, and more. Some of the drawings and models used in the designs at the time still remain.

中国の清朝の宮殿や苑囿（えんゆう）の造営を担当した宮廷建築設計部局〈様房〉で，祖孫7代，200年あまりにわたって雷家が主持したところから，様式雷または様房雷と呼ばれる。始祖は明代初期，江西の工匠と伝えられ，清の康熙年間(1662‐1722)に雷発達が北京紫禁城宮殿建築の責任者となって以来，歴代雷家が円明園，頤和園（いわえん），玉泉山，三海，承徳避暑山荘などの設計を担った。当時設計に用いられた図様(図面)，燙様（とうよう）(模型)の一部が現存する。
