Around 1145 - 1202 Italian theologian, biblical exegete, and founder of monastic orders. His Italian name was Gioacchino da Fiore. Born in Cosenza, he became a Cistercian monk, but after traveling to Palestine, he founded the monastery of San Giovanni in Floris (Fiore) and started the Florian Order. This monastery was known only in Italy and disappeared in the 17th century. Based on the doctrine of the Trinity and biblical interpretation, he divided world history into three periods: the first period was the ``Kingdom of the Father'' in which lay people lived under the law, the second period was the ``Kingdom of the Son'' in which clergy lived between spirit and flesh under Christ, and the third period was the ``Kingdom of the Holy Spirit'' in which monks from Benedict of Nursia lived under a free spirit.
