Urahoro [town] - Urahoro
A town in Tokachi County, Hokkaido. Most of the town is made up of the Shiranuka Hills and the associated plateaus. The Nemuro Main Line and the Doto Expressway pass through the town. In the lowlands along the Urahoro River, dairy farming is practiced and beans, beets, and potatoes are produced. The town sustained damage in the Great East Japan Earthquake. 729.85 km2 . 5,460 people (2010).

北海道十勝郡の町。大部分が白糠(しらぬか)丘陵とそれに伴う台地からなる。根室本線，道東自動車道が通じる。浦幌川沿いの低地では酪農をまじえた農業が行われ，豆類，ビート，ジャガイモを産する。東日本大震災で，町内において被害が発生。729.85km2。5460人（2010）。
