This is the diary of Hirohashi Morimitsu, a nobleman from the late Muromachi period. His handwritten versions, dating from 1507 (Eisho 4) to 1521 (Taei 1), are held by the Toyo Bunko (8 volumes, 2 scrolls) and the Imperial Household Agency Archives and Mausolea Department (2 volumes). There are also copies of the Entoku and Bunki Kaigenki and the Eisho 5th year Shogun Nodoka Ashikaga Yoshitada. It is also known as the Zeshoin Ju Naifuki. As Morimitsu became a military ambassador in 1513 and was involved in negotiations with the shogunate, this diary contains many important articles that show the political situation between the imperial court and the military. Unpublished. [Koizumi Yoshisuke] Source: Heibonsha World Encyclopedia, 2nd Edition Information |
