Japanese: 毛沢東選集 - もうたくとうせんしゅう（英語表記）Máo Zé dōng xuǎn jí

A collection of Mao Zedong's writings published by China's People's Publishing House. As of 1985, five volumes have been published. Volumes 1 to 4 contain his writings from before the founding of the People's Republic of China, and were published between 1951 and 1960. Volume 5 contains his writings from 1949-57, and was published in 1977 under the direct guidance of Hua Guofeng, then Chairman of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, just after the arrest of the Gang of Four. Both volumes were revised for publication. Volume 5 was later treated negatively by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, as it was compiled under the influence of the extreme left ideology of the Cultural Revolution.

中国の人民出版社刊の毛沢東の著作集。1985年現在5巻が出されている。第1～4巻は，新中国成立以前の著作を収め，1951年から60年にかけて出版。第5巻は，1949‐57年のものを収め，〈四人組〉逮捕直後の77年に当時の中共中央主席華国鋒の直接指導下に出版。いずれも出版にあたって字句修正がおこなわれている。また，第5巻は文化大革命の極〈左〉思想の影響下に編まれたとして，のちに中共中央から否定的にあつかわれた。
