Choshichi Uno
?-? A Kabuki musician from the mid-Edo period.
The founder of the Rokugo (Go) school. He was said to be a master of the small drum, and created new techniques such as the Raijo (Raijo) which added ingenuity to Noh music, and the Kodama (echo) which involves striking two small drums together. He influenced the Kabuki music of the Edo period. He retired in 1766 and took the name Rokugo Shinzaburo (first generation). His pen name was Chosai.

六合(郷)派の祖。小鼓の名手といわれ,能楽の囃子に工夫をくわえた雷序(来序)や小鼓二つを打ちあわせる谺(こだま)などの新手法を案出。江戸の歌舞伎囃子に影響をあたえた。明和3年(1766)引退し六合新三郎(初代)を名のったという。号は長斎。
