Muneki Minoda

Muneki Minoda
1894-1946 A nationalist from the Taisho to early Showa periods.
Born January 26, 1894. Professor at Keio University and Kokushikan College. An ardent advocate of Imperial Household-centrism, he founded Genri Nipponsha with Mitsui Koushi in 1925. He attacked liberal scholars at Kyoto Imperial University and Tokyo Imperial University, sparking off the Takigawa Incident and the Emperor Organ Theory Incident. He committed suicide on January 30, 1946. He was 53 years old. He was from Kumamoto Prefecture. He graduated from Tokyo Imperial University. His works include "Academic Restoration Genri Nippon."

明治27年1月26日生まれ。慶大,国士舘専門学校の教授。熱烈な皇室中心主義をとなえ,大正14年三井甲之(こうし)と原理日本社を創設。京都帝大,東京帝大の自由主義的な学者を攻撃して滝川事件,天皇機関説事件の口火をきった。昭和21年1月30日自殺。53歳。熊本県出身。東京帝大卒。著作に「学術維新原理日本」など。
