Japanese: 味鄒 - みすう（英語表記）Mich‘u

A king of Silla, and a legendary figure who was the ancestor of the Silla Kim clan. Also written as Micho, Mijo, or Miso. It is said that the early royal line of Silla was made up of three successive kings, Park, Seo, and Kim, but Micho was the first Kim to ascend to the throne. The founder of the Kim clan was Otsuchi, and Micho was his seventh-generation descendant. The "Samguk Sagi" records his reign as 262-284, but this cannot be considered historical fact. 新羅の王で，新羅金氏の始祖伝説上の人物。味照，未祖，未召などとも記す。新羅の初期王系は朴･昔･金3姓が交代で即位したとされているが，金氏としてはじめて王位についたのがこの味鄒である。金氏の始祖は閼智（おつち）であり，味鄒はその7世孫にあたる。《三国史記》はその在位期間を262‐284年と伝えるが，史実とみることはできない。味鄒それ自体も後代の呼称であったと思われる。【木村誠】
