Tokuchika Miki

Religious leader. Born on April 8, 1900, in Matsuyama, Ehime Prefecture, as the eldest son of Tokuharu Miki (founder of the Hitonomichi sect). In 1936 (Showa 11), he succeeded the sect as its second founder, but after the sect was dissolved due to military oppression, he continued his legal battles, and on September 29, 1946 (Showa 21), after World War II, he rebuilt the sect and established the PL sect (now called the Perfect Liberty sect). His books include "Life is Art," "The Art of Childcare," "Burn the Heart," and "My Resume," as well as collections of poems such as "Going to Heaven," "Habikino," "Moon Reading," "Living Easy," and "Go as God Wills." He passed away on February 1, 1983. His posthumous name was Amayukuumitokuarawaruhikonomikoto.
