Manazuru [town] - Manazuru

Japanese: 真鶴[町] - まなづる

A town in Ashigarashimo County in the southwest of Kanagawa Prefecture. Its central port, Manazuru, is located at the base of Cape Manazuru overlooking Sagami Bay. It is famous for mining stone, which is transported to the Keihin area and other areas. Citrus fruits are cultivated and yellowtail fishing is also carried out here. In recent years, the town has become a tourist destination, especially at Mitsuishi at the tip of the town. It is served by the Tokaido Main Line and the Manazuru Road. 7.04 ^km2 . Population: 8,212 (2010).

神奈川県南西部，足柄下(あしがらしも)郡の町。中心の真鶴港は，相模湾に臨む真鶴岬の基部にある。石材の採掘が有名で，京浜方面などへ搬出される。柑橘(かんきつ)類の栽培，ブリの漁獲なども行われる。先端の三ッ石を中心に近年観光地化が著しい。東海道本線，真鶴道路が通じる。7.04km²。8212人（2010）。
