Usui [town] - Usui
Kama is a former town in Kaho District, central Fukuoka Prefecture. It developed as a coal mining town from the mid-Meiji period onwards, but all the mines have now closed. The development of housing estates on former coal mine sites has led to the town becoming a satellite city of Fukuoka City. In March 2006, it merged with Yamada City, Inatsuki Town in Kaho District and Kaho Town to become a city. 8.45 km2 . 6,599 people (2003).

福岡県中部，嘉穂郡の旧町。明治中期以後，炭鉱町として発展したが，現在はすべて閉山した。炭鉱跡地の住宅団地造成によって福岡市の衛星都市化が進む。2006年３月，山田市，嘉穂郡稲築町，嘉穂町と合併し市制，嘉麻市となる。8.45km2。6599人（2003）。
