A Swedish transport manufacturer. Headquartered in Gothenburg. The vehicles it produces are known for their safety and the strength of their bodies, making them suitable for driving on snowy and icy roads. Founded in 1915 as a steel manufacturer. In 1926, it became a subsidiary of bearing manufacturer AB SKF, and adopted its current name. It began producing automobiles in 1927, and separated from SKF in 1935.
