Gas mask - Gas mask
Also known as a gas mask or gas mask. Equipment to protect against poison gas. It was first used by the Allied forces in World War I to counter the German army's use of poison gas. This led to the development of poison gas (chemical weapons), and gas masks were improved accordingly. It consists of a facepiece and an absorption canister containing activated carbon and other absorbents and filter media. There are separate and direct-connected types, and by application, general-purpose, carbon monoxide, and hydrocyanic acid, and they are used not only by the military but also in mines and factories where poisonous gases are generated.
