A geographical map compiled by the Choshu (Hagi) Domain. It consists of 463 volumes and was established in 1842 (Tenpo 13). As part of the Tenpo Reforms, the domain planned to compile a "Kokugunshi" (County and County Register), and as a source of information, it was compiled under the supervision of the magistrate's office, with detailed village information submitted from all towns and villages within the domain. Each item includes the origin of the village name, the number of ri (ri = 1.5 m), the village's small names, the state of the mountains and rivers, the condition of the land within the village, the water level (worst case, flood damage, drought damage), the amount of fertilizer and undergrowth, the temperature and climate, the planting season, the area of rice fields and rice yields, whether the rice was included in the treasury or was provided as a share, the amount of tax, the location of the rice granary, road traffic, and Otateyama Town. It is divided into sections such as the number of villages, the mountains that were given to the villagers, the mountains under the grounds of shrines and temples, the river bridges, the ditches and reservoirs, the number of households and occupations, the resident samurai and subordinate retainers, the number of cattle and horses, an overview of customs, an overview of industries, local products, bamboo and wood, birds and animals, seafood, shrines and temples, and famous places and historical sites. The end of the volume lists statistics on the village's products, rice and silver income and expenditure, etc., around 1842. In addition, only the Mitajiri official seal contains documents such as the old documents of Hofu Tenmangu Shrine. The original is in the possession of the Yamaguchi Prefectural Library. The printed version consisted of 21 volumes and one supplementary volume, published between 1961 and 1966.
