Nostalgia - Boukyou
A novel by Ikeya Shinzaburo, published in 1925. It depicts his own experiences studying in Germany, and was awarded a novel prize by the Jiji Shimpo newspaper, which serialized the story in the paper.
"〈France〉 Pépé le Moko " is a French film. A black-and-white film released in 1937 by director Julien Duvivier. Set in the Casbah of Algiers, the film depicts the villain Pépé le Moko, played by Jean Gabin, who is attracted to Gaby, a woman who reminds him of his homeland of France, and his downfall.
An oil painting by Seiji Togo. A girl with her eyes downcast and a scarf wrapped around her is standing in the wind against the backdrop of an ancient ruins-like structure, painted in gray tones. This work was created in 1959. It was exhibited at the 5th Japan International Art Exhibition and won the Taishu Award. It is owned by the Seiji Togo Memorial Sompo Japan Nipponkoa Museum of Art. Nostalgia.

池谷信三郎の小説。大正14年(1925)発表。自身のドイツ留学の体験を描き、「時事新報」の懸賞小説に当選、同紙に連載される。
《〈フランス〉Pépé le Moko》フランス映画。ジュリアン=デュビビエ監督による1937年公開の白黒作品。アルジェのカスバを舞台に、ジャン=ギャバン演じる悪党ペペ=ル=モコが、故郷フランスを思い起こさせる女性ギャビーに惹かれ、破滅していく姿を描く。
東郷青児による油絵。古代遺跡風の建造物を背景に、目を伏せスカーフをまいた少女が風に吹かれて立つ姿を、グレーを基調として描いたもの。昭和34年(1959)の作品。第5回日本国際美術展に出品し、大衆賞を受賞。東郷青児記念損保ジャパン日本興亜美術館蔵。ノスタルジア。
三浦朱門の小説。昭和62年(1987)刊行。
