A town in west Cornwall, in the southwestern tip of England, United Kingdom. It is located on a hill overlooking Mount's Bay in the English Channel, on the southern coast of the tip of the Cornish peninsula. Blessed with a mild climate, subtropical plants grow naturally, making it one of the UK's leading seaside resorts. Along with the Scilly Isles to the west, vegetables, fruit, and flowers are grown early for the London market. There is a small tin mine nearby, and fishing is also practiced.
